Official training centre for beach soccer federations and international teams

Ivan Tibau, General Secretary of Catalonia Sports and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CAR Sant Cugat and Joan Cusco, Vice President of the Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), signed a collaboration agreement whereby the CAR becomes an official training and support centre  for the national federations and international beach soccer teams.

Thus, the CAR is recognized by the NSWW as official centre of training and support for international beach soccer federations and clubs, and will provide them with facilities and human resources so that teams from around the world can train in the best conditions.

The Centre has within its facilities a beach soccer football field that meets FIFA official size and sand of the best quality. This track has been set up following the advise of Beach Soccer Worldwide, with the support of the Government of Catalonia. It also has a residence and scientific and technical services, necessary to complement an optimal workout.

By signing the agreement, the Beach Soccer Worldwide can also achieve the aim of facilitating the training of its athletes by allowing them to train in facilities of the highest quality. The national and international beach soccer teams may make temporary concentrations in the CAR.
