The ASPC Board of Directors (BOD) held a series of high-level meetings in Belgrade with key representatives of the Serbian sport system, reinforcing international collaboration and shared priorities in the development of high-performance sport.

In the morning, the BOD met with Mr. Zoran Gajić, Minister of Sport of Serbia. Discussions focused on the evolution of the high-performance ecosystem, highlighting the essential role of coaches, sport scientists, and academic institutions in supporting athlete development. The meeting also addressed the growing impact of new technologies in sport, while emphasising the importance of maintaining the financial sustainability of the sector.

Later in the afternoon, the BOD visited Mr. Dejan Tomašević, President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia. The exchange provided valuable insights into the priorities of the Olympic movement in Serbia and the continued development of elite sport structures, benefiting from Mr. Tomašević’s experience as a former elite athlete.

Both meetings were facilitated by Proff. Dr. Siniša Jasnić, CEO of the International Forum on Elite Sport Belgrade 2027, whose leadership continues to play a key role in strengthening collaboration between ASPC and Serbian sport stakeholders.

These engagements reflect ASPC’s commitment to fostering international dialogue and cooperation, as preparations continue for the International Forum on Elite Sport Belgrade 2027.
