The High Performance Centre (CAR Sant Cugat) have presented TwinDolly, technological development carried out by the High Performance Centre of Sant Cugat, which allows recording and viewing of the technique of water sports athletes, both above and under water, following them throughout the pool.
CAR Sant Cugat has been recognized by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) as a center which provided high quality training conditions to elite wrestlers around the world. This recognition has been grant only to nine centers in the world and open a new location to develop high performance training for wrestling in Europe.
Ivan Tibau, General Secretary of Catalonia Sports and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CAR Sant Cugat and Joan Cusco, Vice President of the Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), signed a collaboration agreement whereby the CAR becomes an official training and support centre for the national federations and international beach soccer teams.

Western Australian Institute of Sport canoeist Robin Jeffery has won silver in the men’s C1 final at the Australian Open event in Penrith.
The 2012 Olympian finished behind German Franz Anton, who weaved his way through the 18 gate course in a winning time of 91.47, 2.22 seconds ahead of Jeffery, with Czech Republic star Stanislav Jezek finishing in third.
