The Board of Directors will meet at the USOC Training Centre Colorado Springs on October 31st. Also the 2nd General Assembly of the IAHPSTC will take place on November 1st. The main topic of discussion is the Next IV FORUM to be held in Colorado Springs next year from 9th to 13th of September 2009 at the new venue of the USOC.
The Board of Directors will meet at the Spanish Sports Council in Madrid on February 8th and 9th. Attendants will have the opportunitty to visit the 3 main HP Centers in Spain. Madrid, Barcelona (Sant Cugat), Sierra Nevada. Discussion issues will be delivered about the V FORUM in Beijing and the Association.

It all started in September 1999 in Sydney, Australia when a group of High Performance Training Centres from all over the world decided to combine efforts to share their experiences during the 1st Forum on Elite Sport.
During the II Forum on Elite Sport, held in September 2001 at CAR Sant Cugat, Barcelona, it was commonly agreed by consensus that joining forces and sharing our experiences must be a direct benefit for athletes and centres around the world.
