The ASPC has officially called its XXII General Assembly, which will be held online on June 10, 2026, at 13:00 h (Barcelona, CET).
Convened in accordance with the ASPC Bylaws, the General Assembly will provide members with the opportunity to participate in discussions and vote on important matters related to the governance and strategic direction of the Association.

The ASPC has officially launched the Mike English Scholarship Program 2026, reinforcing its commitment to promoting innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange across its global network of high-performance sport centres.
The program aims to support impactful projects that contribute to both individual centres and the wider sport performance community.
Two Categories for 2026 Edition
For this year’s edition, ASPC will award two scholarships of €10,000 each under the following categories:

The ASPC BOD conducted a series of strategic meetings in Belgrade, further strengthening institutional relationships and reinforcing the role of sport within major international initiatives.
ASPC President Dr. Harry Bähr, General Secretary Mr. Josep Escoda, and Treasurer Mrs. Fiona de Jong visited the headquarters of Expo 2027 Belgrade, where they were introduced to the scope and vision of this global project. The visit provided valuable insight into the expected impact of the Expo on the city of Belgrade, with sport positioned as one of the central pillars of the event.

The ASPC Board of Directors (BOD) met in Belgrade, Serbia, for its second meeting of the year, marking an important step in shaping the organization’s strategic direction for the coming months.
During the meeting, the BOD addressed a broad range of key topics, with particular focus on the progress and preparation of the upcoming ASPC Continental Forums across all regions (America, Africa and Europe). These events remain central to ASPC’s mission of fostering knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the continued development of the global high-performance sport network.
